Little understanding of seriousness of concussion in sport

A study looking at media representations of concussion management in professional sport may influence the public understanding of what medical care is actually required.

Dr Audrey McKinlay, from the School of Psychology and Psychiatry at Monash University in Melbourne, says the public does follow the example set by professional athletes.
