The Opportunity

The position will primarily entail unit coordination and teaching in the area of research design and analysis at both the honours and doctoral levels within the School of Psychology and Psychiatry. You will also provide statistical support to higher degree by research students for their research projects. 

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Play a role in curriculum design and review at school level.
• Act as subject coordinator, including dealing with any student issues as they arise.
• Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars.
• Potentially engage in the effective collaborative design or implementation of cross-faculty or cross-campus teaching activities or projects.
• Mark assessments.

You will have:

• a doctoral qualification in Psychology (PhD)
• high level teaching experience in the area of research design and analysis which includes a demonstrated track record in achieving improved or consistently good learning outcomes over a sustained period
• high level interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team across both the education and service sectors.

This role is a part-time position; flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
