Katie Ridgeway of Nottingham Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/20/2014)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce the recent induction of Katie Ridgeway '14 of Nottingham, MD, into Phi Beta Kappa. Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and most elite honor society in the United States. The society serves to recognize the power of a liberal arts education by acknowledging students that have achieved high levels of intellectual discipline and achievement.

Ridgeway is majoring in art and art history and minoring in psychology. On campus, she is a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society, and serves as the public relations chair for Relay for Life.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
