Think you can't put a price on being a mom? Think again! According to a recent survey, stay-at-home moms should earn six figure salaries.  While there's no such thing as a "mommy salary," moms looking to jump back in the workforce may find some careers work better than others.

Moms do want to spend as much time with our their young children as possible, but research published in the Journal of Family Psychology find it may not be good for new moms.

The study shows working mothers of young children reported less depression and more of them rated their health as excellent, compared to stay-at-home moms.

Writing:  Find a job as a freelancer creating anything from press releases to speeches to magazine or web articles.

Accounting, bookkeeping and legal work:  Any of these could be good options.  Finding smaller firms with flexible hours can help you earn extra income and still have time for the kids!  Healthcare is so much in demand, a new mom with a medical background can find fulfilling part-time or full-time work.

Sales job:  Some sales jobs let you set your own schedule.  You can work more or less depending on your financial and child care needs.

A survey of more than 60,000 women found the top "happeiest" jobs for working moms were pharmaceutical, bio-tech and clerical positions because of their flexibility, work-life balance and good management.  Certainly a few good options to help new moms be happier, healthier and maybe richer.
