Hope psychology professor honored by national teaching organization – The Grand Rapids Press

HOLLAND, MI - Longtime Hope College professor David Myers is being honored for his “career-long impact on the teaching of psychology” at the Christian, liberal arts school.

Myers, who has been at Hope since 1967, has received the Presidential Citation from the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, the college said in a news release. He’s to receive the award on Sunday during the groups national convention in Hawaii.

The college cited the numerous articles, books and research Myers has engaged in as his contribution to the field and his effort to educate his students. Myers received his bachelor's degree from Whitworth College and his master's and doctorate from University of Iowa.
