Grayson County Children’s Advocacy Center – KXII

SHERMAN, TEXAS - The Grayson County Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) unveiled their temporary office and kicked off their Christmas toy drive Thursday afternoon.

The CAC is working out of the old Sherman ISD building, while their office off of Loy Lake road is renovated.
Volunteers and staff have worked around the clock for the last week decorating for today's open house.
The CAC is also working with the Applied Psychology group of Texoma to collect toys and clothes for the abused children they work with.

"We see between 95 and 100 children every week to provide therapy for them and we wanted to help them have a merry Christmas this year and have them bring an unwrapped gift or a clothing item," said Martha Nuckols of CAC.

The CAC will collect toys throughout next week.
They say they hope to get back in their old building by next Spring.
