Grawemeyer award winners to give talks in April

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — The winners of this year's University of Louisville Grawemeyer Awards are scheduled to give free public talks in April.

UofL presents four Grawemeyer Awards each year in music composition, world order, psychology and education. The university and the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary together give a fifth award in religion.

This year's awards were $100,000 each.

The talks are scheduled for April 10, 12 and 23. The speakers are psychology winner Irving Gottesman; education winner Pasi Sahlberg; religion winner Leila Ahmed; world order winners Erica Chenoweth and Maria Stephan; and music composition winner Michel van der Aa.
