GoodTherapy.org Reaches Company Milestones

Originally created by Noah Rubinstein, LMFT, GoodTherapy.org has grown to include 25 employees and contractors. Through its partnerships with other top health-related web sites, GoodTherapy.org recently reached over 1.5 million clinician searches per month and is visible to over 7 million people per month.

Google News only selects the most up-to-date, high quality news sources on the web.  GoodTherapy.org joins roughly 5,000 other news outlets worldwide featured on Google News.

"Getting into Google News was a major milestone for us. We've been doing original reporting on psychotherapy and psychology news for a couple of years, and being accepted into the exclusive Google News club was a wonderful compliment," said Rubinstein.

For the second consecutive year, GoodTherapy.org was featured in Google's Economic Impact Report and selected as Google's "Alaska Advertiser" of the year.

GoodTherapy.org's Continuing Education for Therapists program has been approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor of continuing education for psychologists. GoodTherapy.org maintains responsibility for all program and content. GoodTherapy.org is also approved as a continuing education provider by the National Board of Certified Counselors and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. All GoodTherapy.org Continuing Education events are presented by industry-leading innovators in the field of psychology. Continuing education presenters have included Daniel J. GoodTherapy.org is also expanding its support of continuing professional growth among its valued members with the launch of a new Online Community.  Within the Online Community, member therapists can lead or participate in GoodTherapy.org's Group Consultation Series.  The Group Consultation Series is a unique opportunity for members to connect, share knowledge, and train each other on specific types of therapy and mental health issues.

"As a therapist in private practice I could never get enough consultation time, but there was a limit to the number of free hours I had during the week to drive across town. Our Group Consult Series solves this problem for all our members by providing a way for practitioners to receive consultation from seasoned therapists without ever leaving the office."

GoodTherapy.org was founded in 2007 on a mission to combat unethical practices in therapy by encouraging clinicians to work non-pathologically and collaboratively, as well as to educate consumers about healthy psychotherapy practices. Each individual member is a vote of confidence lending more credibility, support, and momentum to the GoodTherapy.org mission.
