ESSA concludes 2015 G50+ conference

The psychology of spoken and visual communication was one of the key themes at this year’s ESSA G50+ conference at the Ricoh Arena.

Industry professionals gathered for a day of networking, panel discussions and various speaker sessions on 3 December.

Business psychology lecturer Dr Gorkan Ahmetoglu from University College London delivered the keynote address and the conference was chaired by Han Leehouts, managing director of Sales Pepper.

Andrew Harrison, ESSA director, said: “This year we succeeded in boosting delegate engagement beyond anything we've experienced before.

“Above all this year, the feedback we have received from delegates has been overwhelmingly positive. In particular, delegates told us that they had learnt truly practical and useful techniques for improving their communications, and were looking forward to putting the ideas into effect. Our delegates talked repeatedly about being inspired and engaged, and described this, the ninth G50, as worthwhile and spot on for content. ”

The day's formal proceedings were concluded by Harrison, before delegates moved off for the evening's dinner and entertainment.
