Dr. Paul Winum to Address SCP Midwinter Conference

Paul Winum, Ph.D., ABPP will address the Society of Consulting Psychology (SCP) Midwinter Conference on Saturday, February 11 in a session that will present findings from a multi-study program of research on the topic of CEO succession. Dr. Winum will provide those in attendance with fresh perspectives on the best practices shown by the studies to be most effective in fostering an effective succession process. Afterwards, participants will share their consulting experiences and discuss how the new findings can help them promote seamless leadership continuity within their client organizations.

Dr. Winum is a Senior Partner with RHR International and serves as Global Practice Leader - CEO Succession. His duties include spearheading research, coordinating efforts with clients and supporting consultants in the field. He has published numerous articles in the field of CEO succession and is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, Fortune and Forbes. He is also in demand as a speaker for business and professional meetings. In 2007, he was awarded specialty board certification in Organizational and Business Consulting Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and was elected as a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Winum received his Ph.D. and master's degrees from the University of Notre Dame in Counseling Psychology and a bachelor's degree concentrating in Sociology and Psychology from Columbia University.
