Cybill Shepherd is once again suiting up for the waters of marriage: the actress, famous for her sitcom Cybill as well as her current spin on Lifetime's The L Word, is engaged. 62-year-old Shepherd told The Daily News that she has taken a new fiancé, this time in the form of a psychologist. Andrei Nikolajevic, a former jeweler in addition to practicing psychology, proposed to Shepherd several weeks ago in New York City.
“It was very romantic and on one knee," says Shepherd. "I never thought I’d get married again."
Shepherd has been married twice before: first to nightclub entertainer David Ford (from 1978 to 1982), and then to chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim (from 1987 to 1990). She has three children: Clementine Ford, 33, and Cyrus Zachariah and Molly Ariel Oppenheim, both 24.
