Overview: 
The School of Applied Psychology currently has 45 full-time academic staff across two campuses (Gold Coast and Mt Gravatt), whose teaching and research interests span clinical, organisational, cognitive, social, developmental, health, forensic, and experimental psychology. The School's vision is to prepare its graduates to be able to understand and apply psychology in the face of global challenges, (for example, the application of psychology to challenges such as family breakdown, chronic disease (including mental illness), early intervention education and child development, climate change and natural disasters,)

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Mt Gravatt campus.

The role:
The Clinical Education Coordinator is a member of the School of Applied Psychology's Clinical Team and is responsible for organising the internal placement experience, training and supervising clinical students, liaising with the community and procuring referrals for the Clinic as well as contributing to teaching within the School.

The person:
The appointee will have eligibility for membership of APS College of Clinical Psychology; Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with an area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology; completed STAP training or equivalent, and be eligible to provide supervision for clinical psychology trainees in accordance with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.  The person should hold either a PhD, Doctorate or Masters in Clinical Psychology. 

Salary range:
Lecturer, Level B: $79,377 - $94,263 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $92,872 - $110,288 per annum.
