Child and adolescent psychology forum

On 31 March Manchester will host the 7th National Conference of the Forum for Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychology Services (FICAPS) aimed primarily at clinical psychologists (including trainees and assistants) who work in, or with inpatient child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS).

The conference will focus on issues of risk assessment within an inpatient CAMHS context in the morning with Caroline Logan, lead consultant forensic clinical psychologist in Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, delivering a keynote lecture on this topic.

The afternoon will be dedicated to the theme of 'Recovery. and following the success from last year's conference, service users will be included within this part of the day.The conference will take place at the Malmaison Hotel in Manchester - for more details visit the conference website.

FICAPS is one of the Society’s Division of Clinical Psychology's Children and Young People Faculty Networks that provides a forum for members to share ideas and best practise within the network and discuss relevant ethical and professional issues faced by members. More about FICAPs here.
