Role of Anthropology and Psychology’ was inaugurated at the Panjab University on Monday. Addressing the participants, Vice-Chancellor R C Sobti stressed the need for integration of various disciplines for benefit of society and the role of anthropology in uniting all the other disciplines.

The session included two lectures by Prof Jitendra Mohan and Prof Harish Sharma.

Prof Mohan presented a discourse on ‘Happiness, well-being and excellence: A psychological road map’. He emphasised the fact that happiness, well-being and excellence were often closely linked. Using his own model, he attempted to show these linkages in order that Gen-Next may learn from them.
