Child psychology workshop series slated

Whetstone said he has hosted similar workshops around the country. In each of the six sessions, Whetstone said, topics will be approached from the child's perspective. The purpose of the workshop is to facilitate communication between grandparents, parents, teachers, coaches and other adults in a child's life. Professor co-authors psychology paper

SIOUX CITY | Shannon Claxton, assistant professor of psychology at Morningside College, recently co-authored a paper that appeared in the December issue of the journal Emerging Adulthood.

Her paper provides advanced statistical techniques for researchers interested in testing how the characteristics of romantic partners interact.

Claxton previously taught undergraduate courses and served as a graduate research assistant at Kent State University. She has a doctorate in experimental psychology from Kent State.
