Catawba College news

Darin S. Spencer, an assistant professor of accounting in Catawba College’s Ketner School of Business, has been asked to serve on the Accounting Advisory Board at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Spencer has a bachelor’s degree and master of accountancy degree from University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his MBA from Pfeiffer University.

Paper accepted for publication

A paper authored by a Catawba College professor of psychology and two college alumnae has been accepted for publication in the journal, Psychology. Dr. Sheila Brownlow and alumnae Amanda Kanoy of Salisbury and Tiffany F. Sowers of Asheville authored the paper titled “Can reward obviate stereotype threat effects on mental rotation tasks?”
