The School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University is looking to appoint a Career Development Fellowship in the Sociology of Islam in Australia.

This position is offered as a Career Development Fellowship in accordance with the University’s Academic Staff Agreement. Applicants to this teaching and research position will be recent PhD graduates in Social Sciences.

This Career Development Fellow will work closely with Religion and Society Researchers in building publications, undertaking research, and submitting grant applications in the area of the sociology of Islam in Australia, including research on islamophobia. The successful appointee will possess an expertise in new social media.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $101,116 to $119,312 p.a., (comprising Salary $91,226 to $107,722 p.a., 9.5% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
