British psychologists to give keynote addresses at 2015 EFPA Congress

The 14th European Congress of Psychology will be held in Milan on 7-10 July 2015 under the auspices of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations. The event will showcase new tecniques and best practice in all the fields of psychology.

You can find full details of the event on the Congress website. The closing date for the online submission of abstracts is 15 October 2014. Online registration will open on 22 May 2014.

Three psychologists from British universities are among the keynote speakers:

  • Dr Felicity De Zulueta, King's College London - 'Resistance to change in a world of change: unravelling our secret traumatic attachments'
  • Professor Joan Duda, University of Birmingham - 'Empowering coaching: the development, delivery and impact of a theory-based intervention to promote adaptive motivational climate'
  • Dr Alessandra Lemma, University College London - 'Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy: old wine in a new bottle?'

Professor Philip Zimbardo will also be among the keynote speakers.
