Read for Life is hosting a fundraiser 7 p.m. April 26 at the Fox Theatre, featuring Alison Gopnik, University of California, Berkley professor of psychology.

Gopnik is also the author of “The Philosophical Baby: What Children’s Minds tell us about Truth, Love, and the Meaning of Life.” The presentation she will give April 26 is called “Baby Talk: What Babies Teach Us about Learning, Language and Life.”

Tickets are $15 per person [there are group rates available] and can be bought at the Fox Theatre box office at the northwest corner of Main and Encina streets, or at the Visalia Learning Center, 630 S. Atwood St.
