August Commencement features College of Health Professions degree candidates

Students from the schools of Dental Health Science, Physician Assistant Studies and Professional Psychology, and those within the Masters of Healthcare Administration program, will graduate on Saturday.


August Commencement exercises will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 on the Marsh Hall East Lawn at the University's Forest Grove Campus.

Degree candidates from the College of Health Professions' Masters of Healthcare Administration program and schools of Dental Health Science, Physician Assistant Studies and Professional Psychology will realize the completion of their educational journies that will spawn careers caring for others.

Ten candidates for a master of healthcare administration degree will partake in the ceremony.

Thirty-one (31) students will graduate with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene.

An additional 39 students will earn a master of science degree in physician assistant studies.

The School of Professional Psychology will present 91 candidates for one of four degrees. Thirty-nine students will earn a master of arts in counseling psychology. Twelve others will earn either a master or arts or master of science in clinical psychology; and 40 students will earn a doctor of psychology (Psy.D.) degree.
