Psychologist Hannah Nelson has joined Athens Psychological Services.

Nelson is a nationally certified school psychologist and provides individual psychotherapy, parent consultation and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents and young adults. She uses several therapeutic approaches and typically incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy in her work, according to a news release.

She completed the American Psychological Association accredited school psychology doctoral program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an APA accredited internship at the Tennessee Internship Consortium in Knoxville.
