The Opportunity

The School of Psychological Sciences is seeking four Senior Online Instructors for the Online Graduate Diploma in Psychology.

In this role you will be responsible for coordination and preparation of online teaching sites and materials for live classes, development of content and course material in collaboration with colleagues (may require research contribution), teaching and marking classes, monitoring online discussion forums, and advising sessional instructors on issues related to the live classes and marking.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• deliver online classes
• mark assessments
• assist in the preparation of online classes
• assist in dealing with any student issues as they arise.

If you have a Masters level qualification in Psychology, or equivalent experience (such as two years of PhD study, or significant teaching experience within the discipline) you are well placed to apply.

High level teaching experience in the area of Psychology, which includes a demonstrated track record in achieving improved or consistently good learning outcomes over a sustained period, is essential.

Your high level interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team across both the education and service sectors, will see you excel in this position.
