Psychology professor of the University of Mysore who is facing charges of sexual harassment levelled by a research scholar, was on Friday subjected to medical examination to ascertain his potency.

that the 54-year-old professor was taken to the Forensic Sciences Department of K.R. Hospital, where a medical examination was carried out to ascertain his potency. “This is a requirement for conducting the investigation into the charges of rape levelled against the professor”, he said. It may be mentioned here that the research scholar had lodged a complaint against the professor on March 19, 2015 and the Vijayanagar police had begun investigation after registering her complaint. “However, the alleged incident is said to have taken place about two years ago in 2013”, a police official said.
