GREAT FALLS -
The University of Great Falls held there 81st commencement ceremony Saturday morning at the McLaughlin Center.
304 students made up the class of 2015 which, included both undergraduate and graduate-level students.
Luke Urick's family cheered loud as he walk across the stage to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He said, "It feels great. This is a heck of an achievement. In my family, I'm fortunate to be the first one in my immediate family to earn my degree so I'm pretty excited about it.”
Urick also received Summa Cum Laude, which means he graduated with a G.P.A between 3.90 and 4.00.
Sister Carol Coston gave this year's commencement speech; she spoke about her work at the Santurario Sisterfarm.
The graduates say they were very excited for this day to come.
Brittany McKenney earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and she is looking forward to the next chapter in her life.
"I'm really looking forward to starting my career. Hoping to be successful in whatever I end up doing so it's exciting. It's very exciting," McKenney said.
McKenney also received Magna Cum Laude, which means she graduated with a G.P.A between 3.75 to 3.89.
During the ceremony, the school also honored Nancy Cameron for her generous gift to the university.
The $650,000 endowment will fund scholarships for Montana students. Particularly those from Great Falls and north-central Montana.
