You know the feeling, your heart pounds faster, your muscles tighten and your breath quickens.
For many people, stress is so commonplace that it has become a way of life.
If you’re going through a tough time or experience, whether you’re feeling stressed or something more, having friends and family to talk to is important, but sometimes it’s not enough, and professional help is needed.
But, living in a regional area, that help is not always readily available.
Lousie Roufeil is the executive manager of professional practice from the Australian Psychological Society and she explains to the ABC's Elly Bradfield just why there is a shortage in regional Queensland.
