UMBC's IO Psychology Graduate Program is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. Guest speaker, Elliot Lasson, Executive Director of Joblink of Maryland, Inc., and Adjunct Faculty at UMBC-Shady Grove, will discuss Managing Millennials in the Workplace.

In today's workplace, there are three generational cohorts which make up the universe of employees. Each has its own perspective, communication patterns and work styles. The newest group to emerge is the Millennial Generation or Gen Y. In this webinar, the generations will be compared and contrasted, with the focus on how older generations can best work with Millennials.
About Elliot Lasson
Elliot Lasson is the Executive Director of Joblink of Maryland, Inc., and Adjunct Professor at UMBC where he teaches Social Psychology Methods of Assessment. He has considerable experience in designing, validating, and implementing recruitment and staffing solutions. He has led various organizational development, training, and change management initiatives and combines solution-oriented approach with a strategic "big picture" approach. Lasson, recently featured in an article in CBS Baltimore, is also a member of Governor O'Malley's Workforce Investment Board.
