Lauren DiCredico of Tewksbury was one of 19 Salem State students, representing 11 academic departments, who presented research results at the Massachusetts Statewide Undergraduate Research Conference, held on April 26 at UMass-Amherst.
A psychology student, DiCredico’s presentation was titled, “The Psychological Aspects of Athletic Training.”
Each year, undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds from across the Massachusetts public system of higher education gather to present the results of their original work in oral and poster presentations before their peers, faculty and the public. Students presented work related to thesis research, creative work in the visual and performing arts, independent study, community service, and study abroad.
The 19 Salem State students whose work was accepted traveled to Amherst on Friday, April 26, along with honors program coordinator Joanna Gonsalves and several of the faculty project advisors to make their presentations.
