A study being conducted at Kentucky Wesleyan College is aimed at developing suggestions for how the military can increase successful transitions from military to civilian life.
The college's psychology department plans to interview honorably discharged veterans who served in Iraq or Afghanistan about their pre-military, military and post-military experiences.
Robert Brooks, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and psychology major, is the primary researcher, and Jon Higdon, a U.S. Air Force veteran and cum laude May graduate of the college, will assist in data collection, according to a news release. Psychology professor Mike Fagan will supervise the project.
Veterans who are interested in participating should call Brooks at 270-485-3448.
