Students were outraged after racist and anti-Islamic graffiti was reported to have been sprayed onto a building at the University of Birmingham.

The vandalism, according to eye-witnesses, was written on the side of the psychology block.

In a blog post for the student newspaper Redbrick , a second year English student Hannah Sharron, said that the graffiti would offend both Muslim and Jewish students.
