Ashley Spain and Lucas Smith of DeWitt, Iowa, are excited to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Ashley is the daughter of Terry and Helen Spain of Delmar, Iowa.

Lucas is the son of Steve and Nancy Smith of DeWitt, IA.

Ashley and Lucas are both graduates of Central DeWitt High School. Ashley has a BA in Psychology, a MS in Healthcare Management and is currently working towards a Doctorate in Psychology. She is currently working as the Administrator for NeuroRestorative in Iowa City, Iowa. Lucas graduated from the Millwright Apprenticeship in 2003. He is currently employed by GE Nuclear and is the President and CEO of Smith Family Racing.

The couple is holding a private ceremony followed by a reception both held at The River Center on September 21, 2013.
