A young woman who works with autistic children is doing a skydive to raise money for cancer research.
Charlotte Gower, 21, from Winslow, will undertake a tandem jump at Hinton airfield near Brackley on Friday August 2.
Charlotte recently graduated from Portsmouth University with a Psychology degree and is now employed as a support worker at the MacIntrye School in Wingrave. She chose to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer because there are several people close to her who have got or have had cancer.
She said: “As the date draws nearer for the skydive I am very frightened, but it is something out of the ordinary and it is is for a very good cause.”
Her mother will watch the early morning jump.
