There has been so much talked about autism diagnosis of late and on the same lines, a recent research has taken another step ahead to shed light on the disease and concluded that some autistic children have recovered completely from the disorder.
Posted online on Wednesday by the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, the research is believed to be one of the most comprehensive researches done on the same subject till date. it has further been noted that the research has studied some special cases, which might be able to change a lot about what so far has been made known to parents about the disorder.
The study, led by Deborah Fein of the University of Connecticut at Storrs, roped in some 34 people who were indentified with the disorder before the age of 5 and now they don't have any symptoms.
However, there is no way finding out as of now to predict to nail down the children who have some hidden reasons, perhaps biological factors, which help marking significant improvements in behavioral therapy.
It has to be understood that rate of autism diagnosis has gone up considerably in the last 20 years and that's what makes it all the more significant that attention is paid to nail down all those who can be helped in some way medically.
