Rawtenstall student studies for dream job

A BUDDING architect has been accepted onto a place at Northumbria University to study for her dream career.
Emma Watson, who earned As in art and psychology, and A* in extended project and a D in maths at Rawtenstall’s Alder Grange sixth form AG6, said she could not wait to get studying.
The 18-year-old said: “I am really pleased with the results. I wanted to get a place at Northumbria University to study architecture and I have been accepted now.
“I am really looking forward to it.”
