On the first of the month, right in front of the bookstore, the University Psychology Clinic held a screening to provide affordable psychological services to students, staff and community members.
The clinic has been doing so for over 25 years.
Clinic officials said the clinic upholds the university’s mission by aiding in compassionate service to everyone in need, promoting the dignity of all individuals, contributing to the common good of the community and providing equal access and opportunity to services to the populations in the Detroit metro area.
Services include help dealing with anxiety, stress, depression and emotional, behavioral and cognitive problems.
