PELHAM, N.Y. – Pelham resident Marya Howell-Carter won the 2015 CARES Award from Farmingdale State College for her commitment to the college community and her exemplary work on behalf of students in the Psychology Department as a teacher and director of the applied psychology major.

The CARES Award (Commendation and Recognition for Exceptional Service), is awarded by Farmingdale President Hubert Keen once a year.

Farmingdale State College is the largest of SUNY’s colleges of technology.
