The escalation of hate crime in recent years was examined at the Malta Student Psychology Forum, jointly organised by University psychology student organisation Betapsi and the National Student Travel Foundation (NSTF). SIOUX CITY | Shannon Claxton, assistant professor of psychology at Morningside College, recently co-authored a paper that appeared in the December issue of the journal Emerging Adulthood.

Her paper provides advanced statistical techniques for researchers interested in testing how the characteristics of romantic partners interact.

Claxton previously taught undergraduate courses and served as a graduate research assistant at Kent State University. She has a doctorate in experimental psychology from Kent State.
