Nora Newcombe, professor of psychology and principal investigator of the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center, has been selected as a 2014 recipient of the Association for Psychological Research's (APS) William James Fellow Award. The award is the highest honor conferred by APS and honors distinguished members for their lifetime of significant intellectual contributions to the field of psychology.
Newcombe will be presented with the award at the opening ceremony of next year’s APS Convention in San Francisco, CA on May 22, 2014. In addition, Newcombe has been invited to speak at the convention.
