Transitions Mental Health Center opens

ShareHouse of Fargo has opened Transitions Mental Health Center, an outpatient treatment center for those affected by mental illness.

Services will include mental health diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy and psychological testing.

ShareHouse has hired Erica Hoff and Scott Sternhagen as psychologists and Sue Garfield as a licensed independent clinical worker to staff the center.

Hoff and Sternhagen both earned doctorates in clinical psychology from the University North Dakota, Grand Forks. Hoff specializes in treatment of borderline personality disorder and dialectical behavioral therapy. Sternhagen specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders with a solution-focused approach.

Garfield earned a master’s degree in clinical social work from Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids, Mich., and has clinical interests in the areas of depression, trauma and relationships.

Tranquility Spa and Massage opens Oct. 1

Tranquility Spa and Massage will open at 3535 Main Ave. S., Fargo, on Oct. 1.

Tara Mackner and Jen LaDuke, formerly of Sweet Banana Spa, will operate the business.

The spa will offer services such as massage therapy, spray tans, facials, waxing, microdermabrasion, eyelash extensions, pedicures, manicures, gel nails, acrylic nails and more.
