Utah natives Neon Trees will perform at the Fonda Theatre on June 11, bringing pop rock and new wave to Hollywood along with Alex Winston and Yes You Are. The band consists of Tyler Glenn (vocals, keyboards), Chris Allen (guitar, vocals), Branden Campbell (bass guitar, vocals) and Elaine Bradley (drums, percussion, vocals). They received nationwide exposure when they opened for The Killers on tour in 2008.
Neon Trees have three albums to date, with the most recent being Pop Psychology released in 2014. The first single from Pop Psychology was “Sleeping with a Friend,” which was certified Gold by RIAA and charted on US Adult Top 40 (Billboard) at #7. Other certified singles throughout the band’s career include “Animal,” “Everybody Talks,” and “Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night).”
The group has been on the rise for the past few years, and was voted Band of the Year in 2009 by City Weekly, a popular Salt Lake City publication. They have toured alongside 30 Seconds to Mars and Mutemath and have appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Be sure to check out the Neon Trees when they visit the Fonda Theatre in June.
