For admission to MCM, Sector 36, the prospectus-cum-admission forms are already available in the college. The prospectus will cost Rs 600. The college offers a number of under-graduate and post-graduate courses. Among these, BCom, BCA, BSc (Microbial and Food Technology), BA (Psychology and Economics), all honours courses at under-graduate level and post-graduate courses in English and Sociology are the most popular in the college.
For BCom, the forms will be available online from June 14. For all other courses, the forms are already available.
In addition to general degree courses, the college offers post-graduation diploma course in Computer Application and Mass Communication with 30 seats each.
The add-on courses available in the college include Cosmetology and Beauty Care, Interior Designing and Decoration, Video Reporting and Communicative English, offering 40 seats in each course.
The college has also proposed to start MCom, MA (Economics), MA (Psychology), MSc (Microbial and Food Technology) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Cosmetology and Beauty Care from this session. The courses are subject to approval by the Panjab University.
In MA English, the college offers 40 seats and in MA sociology there are 60 seats available in the college.
The last date for submission of forms for BSc MFT, BCA, BA (Functional English), MA (English and Sociology) has been specified as July 7 and for all courses on-the-spot admissions will be conducted on July 9. The late admissions with Rs 500 as the late admission fee will take place between July 27 and August 8.
