PSYCHOLOGY Maziwisa, Zanu PF’s deputy director of information, has been appointed deputy spokesman for Prophet Makandiwa’s United Family International Church (UFIC), it emerged Sunday.

Maziwisa confirmed the appointment, pointing out that it would not interfere with his day job at the Zanu PF headquarters in Harare.

“For such trust and confidence to be bestowed upon me by a man of God of Prophet Makandiwa’s magnitude means a lot and there is no word in the English language that could ever sufficiently capture my appreciation.

“Maziwisa has acquitted himself well in the media and shown himself to be a talented and gifted speaker,� said Zanu PF spokesman, Rugare Gumbo.

“Obviously, anyone would want to work with him. I don’t see anything wrong with Prophet Makandiwa asking him to take a more active role in the church.�
