Lifetime Achievement Award for memory expert

A MEMORY expert from the University of York has been given a Lifetime Achievement Award from the British Psychological Society’s research
board.
Professor Alan Baddeley, of the university’s department of psychology, helped develop a ‘working memory’ model, with Professor Graham Hitch, to improve short-term memory.
Professor Baddeley said: “I am very pleased to have been honoured in this way for a career that I have thoroughly enjoyed and continue to enjoy.”
