The Opportunity
The School of Psychology and Psychiatry is seeking to appoint a part-time education-focused Lecturer on a continuing basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic academic to join a highly motivated team of teaching and research staff. Your primary role will be to provide a high standard of learning and teaching; educational design and delivery; and educational leadership in the school's Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) program.
As an outstanding academic and the successful candidate you will:
- develop and introduce new innovative teaching methodologies and technologies as part of the teaching curriculum in the DPsych (Clinical) program
- be proactive in the advancement of innovative models of education at the faculty, University and national levels
- contribute to scholarly activities that influence and enhance learning and teaching
- teach in the DPsych (Clinical) program and across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs as appropriate
- supervise honours and postgraduate research students and convene at least one Psychology unit in the DPsych (Clinical) program.
As the successful appointee you shall demonstrate high level teaching and innovation within the school and the faculty.
