Overview:
The School of Applied Psychology currently has 40 full-time Academic staff and a number of research fellows across two campuses (Gold Coast and Mt Gravatt), whose teaching and research interests span organisational, clinical, cognitive, social, developmental, forensic, health and experimental psychology.  The position will be located at the Mt Gravatt campus, and successful applicants may be expected to do some teaching at their non-resident campus.

This is a fixed term (four years), part time (40%) position based at the Mt Gravatt campus, however the successful applicant may also be required to work on other campuses of the University.

The role:
This is a fractional (40%) teaching only appointment, with an applied focus.  The person appointed to the position will be committed to teaching excellence, and be able to provide professional supervision. Course coordination within the School will be required. 

The person:
The appointee will have a PhD in Psychology and be committed to teaching excellence in both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs and provide professional supervision.  The appointee will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a capacity and readiness to contribute to both the School and the University. 

Salary range:
Lecturer, Level B: $84,227 - $100,023 (pro rata) per annum.
