Kingston Twp. woman accused of practicing psychology without license

A Kingston Township woman has been disciplined by the Pennsylvania Department of State's Board of Psychology for practicing without a license.

Jeanne Schmid Grymko of the township's Trucksville section is ordered to pay a civil penalty of $2,000, costs of investigation totaling $748.83, and to cease and desist from performing any activity requiring a license to practice as a psychologist unless and until she receives the appropriate authorization.

The Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs' 29 boards and commissions license and oversee more than 900,000 active professionals and businesses, including a range of occupations in health and business-related fields.

Anyone who suspects unlicensed activity by an individual or facility, or who has been a victim of unethical treatment, can file a complaint online at www.dos.state.pa.us or through the bureau's hotline at 1-800-822-2113.
