SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Kayleigh A. Marchetti of Poughkeepsie, NY, received the Honor Graduate in Psychology Award during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. The Honor Graduate Award is presented to the graduating senior who demonstrates the highest ideals in Psychology by virtue of their academic performance, contribution, service, and commitment to the field. Chris Hakala, professor of Psychology, presented the award.
Marchetti graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts. She is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, Mortar Board, and Psi Chi honor societies. Starting in the fall, she will begin graduate studies to become a school psychologist.
