Linkedin: Delete account

Sign in to Linkedin and click on your profile image at the top right corner. From the drop-down menu select Privacy Settings.

Scroll down and click on Account. On the right hand side, you will find "Close your Account". You will be prompted to give a reason for the account closure request. Once you submit it, your account will be removed. Note, once you delete it, your profile, connections and your recommendations will be removed. Linkedin says your public profile, which is visible on a search engine, might take a few days to disappear.
