I refer to the article in The Sunday Times of Malta (June 21) about a gay man reported to have seen a psychologist who claimed his sexual orientation could be cured.

The Malta Psychology Profession Board strongly condemns any attempts by psychologists at conversion therapy with individuals identifying themselves as homosexuals.

The MPPB urges individuals who have been aggrieved by such claims to come forward and make a formal complaint to the board whose role it is also to ensure that psychologists practise ethically and do no harm to members of the public. The MPPB can be contacted on [email protected].
