FLORENCE, S.C. – Dr. Crystal Hill-Chapman, associate professor of psychology at Francis Marion University and coordinator of the university’s graduate program for school psychologists, received board certification as a psychologist from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
The national certification is relatively rare, especially for psychologists who are primarily academics. There are about 4,000 ABPP certified psychologists nationally, fewer than 40 in the state of South Carolina.
