Dr. Kevin Leman — internationally known Christian psychologist, author and speaker — will offer marriage advice that can change your life at “Celebration of Marriage 2012: Date Night” on Friday, January 20, 2012. Marriage Inc., Kankakee County Marriage Initiative and Olivet Nazarene University host this event for dating, engaged and married couples. Doors open 6 p.m., and the event begins 7 p.m., at the Betty and Kenneth Hawkins Centennial Chapel on the Olivet campus in Bourbonnais, Ill.
A well-known media personality, speaker and columnist, Dr. Leman has appeared on “Oprah,” CNN, “Good Morning America” on ABC, “The Early Show” on CBS, “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “The Today Show” on NBC, “The View,” among others. He has taught and entertained audiences worldwide with his wit and common sense psychology.
Dr. Leman is the author of more than 30 books, and a dozen audio and DVD video titles. His bestsellers include: “7 Things He’ll Never Tell You, But You Need to Know,” “Sex Begins in the Kitchen,” “Becoming a Couple of Promise,” “Have a New Husband by Friday,” “Living in a Step-Family Without Getting Stepped On,” and “The Birth Order Book.”
He is a charter faculty member of iQuestions.com, an online resource with experts who answer life’s toughest questions. He is also the founder and president of Couples of Promise, an organization designed to help couples remain happily married. He and his wife, Sande, live in Tucson, Ariz., and are the parents of five children.
